Darjeeling Retreat Terms and Conditions

  1. Booking and Payment

1.1. To reserve a spot for the yoga retreat, participants must pay.

1.2. The remaining balance must be paid [X] days before the start date of the retreat. Failure to pay the balance may result in the cancellation of the participant’s booking.

1.3. Payment can be made via [bank transfer, credit/debit card, payment gateway, etc.]. Detailed payment instructions will be provided upon booking.


2. Cancellation and Refund Policy

2.1. Group Cancellation policy: In case of cancellation, more than 30 days before the commencement of the function, no retention charge will be levied. In case of a cancellation between 30 days and 15 days before the commencement of the function, SHRIL reserves the right to charge 25% of the total estimated billing along with the applicable GST rate as retention. In case of a cancellation between 15 days and 10 days before the commencement of the function, SHRIL reserves the right to charge 50% of the total estimated billing along with the applicable GST rate as retention. In the event of cancellation, or postponement of the event to another date within 9 days of the event days would attract 100% of the billing amount inclusive of GST as the cancellation charge.

2.2. No refund will be provided for early departures, missed days, or unused services during the retreat.


3. Health and Safety

3.1. Participants are required to disclose any existing medical conditions, injuries, or health concerns prior to attending the retreat.

3.2. Participants are responsible for their own health, safety, and well-being during the retreat. The organizer will not be liable for any injuries, illnesses, or medical issues that may arise during the retreat.

3.3. It is recommended that participants have appropriate travel insurance that covers health-related emergencies, cancellations, and other unforeseen incidents.


4. Code of Conduct

4.1. Participants are expected to maintain respectful and considerate behavior towards other attendees, instructors, and staff.

4.2. Disruptive, inappropriate, or disrespectful behavior may result in the participant’s removal from the retreat without a refund.

4.3. The use of drugs, alcohol, or any illegal substances is strictly prohibited during the retreat.


5. Accommodation and Meals

5.1. Accommodation will be provided as per the booking details (shared or private rooms, as specified at the time of booking).

5.2. Meals included in the retreat package will be vegetarian/vegan, and any dietary preferences or restrictions should be communicated in advance

5.3. Participants are responsible for the cost of any additional meals, snacks, or drinks outside the meal plan provided.


6. Schedule and Activities

6.1. The retreat schedule, including yoga sessions, workshops, and other activities, is subject to change without prior notice.

6.2. Participation in activities is voluntary. Participants are encouraged to listen to their bodies and opt out of activities if they feel uncomfortable or unwell.

6.3. The retreat schedule will be shared prior to the start date, and updates will be provided if any changes occur.


7. Use of Photos and Videos

7.1. The organizer may capture photos and videos during the retreat for promotional purposes. By attending the retreat, participants grant permission for their images to be used in marketing materials unless they explicitly request otherwise.7.2. Participants may request to opt out of being photographed or filmed during the retreat by informing the organizer in advance.


8. Liability Disclaimer

8.1. The organizer is not responsible for any loss, theft, or damage to participants’ personal belongings during the retreat.

8.2. The organizer is not liable for any accidents, injuries, or adverse health outcomes resulting from participation in yoga, meditation, or other retreat activities.

8.3. Participants are responsible for their own travel arrangements to and from the retreat venue and any costs incurred as a result of delays, cancellations, or missed connections.


9. Force Majeure

9.1. The organizer will not be liable for any cancellation, delay, or changes in the retreat schedule due to events beyond its control, such as natural disasters, pandemics, strikes, or government regulations.

9.2. In the event of a force majeure event, the organizer will make reasonable efforts to reschedule the retreat or offer alternative options to participants.


10. Acknowledgment and Agreement

10.1. By booking and participating in the yoga retreat, participants acknowledge that they have read, understood, and agreed to these terms and conditions.
